ICK is looking for a PRODUCTION MANAGER (X/M/V)
Starting from January 1st or earlier by arrangement – 32 hours per week (employment or self-employed possible)

What will you do?

  • Ensure the planning, execution, and completion of productions within ICK, including events or presentations in our building Space for Dance Art.
  • Monitor the budget and maintain a constant overview of the income and expenses of the projects/productions you are involved with.
  • Oversee the development of our performances, educational workshops, European projects, and be the point of contact for studio use and events we facilitate.
  • Supervise all productions and take responsibility for people and resources, including agreements with collaborators.
  • Collaborate closely with various departments including technical, marketing, and the community manager.
  • Work with the whole team to further develop Space for Dance Art into a vibrant new home for dance and contemporary art. A dance plaza that is a cross between a museum, dance room, media library, theater, gallery, and public space. A place of creation, research, and culture.

  • You have experience in the production of performing arts or media.
  • You are punctual, a true organizational talent, not intimidated by deadlines, and can keep others on track with agreements.
  • You have an eye for both people and details, and with your social skills, you can have in-depth conversations with creators and the rest of the team.
  • You have experience in preparing and monitoring project budgets, taking the overall budget into account.
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and enjoy contributing to the development of the role and possibilities of Space for Dance Art.
  • You are proficient English, spoken and written and preferably Dutch.
  • We are looking for someone who feels connected to ICK’s vision, is interested and enthusiastic to think along, and is ready to “travel” with us, both literally and figuratively.
