Ricardo was born in Merida, Mexico in 2003. He started dance at the age of 15 with urban dance styles. From a young age, he was inspired by his culture and surrounded by dance, music and arts. He completed his course at the Conservatorio de Danza de Yucatán and in June 2024, he received his Bachelor of Contemporary Dance course at the Zurich University of the Arts. In the spring of 2024 Ricardo joined the ICK-ensemble.

Become more versatile in your movement, develop your floor work skills and dance with strength and conviction by joining our contemporary floorwork classes!
Guided by ICK-ensemble dancer Ricardo you will be focussing on going deeper in on movement and how working together with the floor can enhance your way of dancing and choreographing. You will go discover how your body together with its muscles move and how your balance works in different places. Floorwork gives variety to a dance and can make it even more interesting to look at.
