During this improvisation class, the focus is on the process itself. The platform encourages personal exploration, practice, daring, and learning through the kinesthetic body. Participants gain an understanding of basic and essential principles within the triad: body ∞ mind (individual), body-bodies (relation with others), and space/time/life (context), leading into Instant Creation. Imagination is activated through the physical body, fostering a deeper connection to movement. Basic principles from both Eastern and Western approaches are integrated, intertwining the visible and invisible. Various methods are explored to reconnect, recognize, and activate an individual’s original movement, resulting in skills to navigate, redirect, and engage with the energetic and moving body.

Register now and step into the improvisation process at Space for Dance Art.

Ana Leonor Ladas is a dancer and creator with over 20 years of experience. Trained at the HKA Dance Academy in Arnhem, she has collaborated with both dance companies and independent choreographers. Her passion for teaching led her to develop her own approach in 2008, where improvisation and instant composition, manifestations of life itself, take center stage. Over the years, she has taught at institutions such as the HKA Dance Academy in Arnhem, Dansdrift, Buitenkunst, and Leine Roebana Dance Company, while also regularly organizing her own classes and workshops.

Beyond her work in dance, she is a professional Shiatsu and acupuncture practitioner and is deeply engaged in Aikido and Regenerative Movement. These disciplines seamlessly intertwine, shaping her lessons into unique, intuitively created experiences that respond directly to the people and context of the moment.
